a family affair...
Bird & Bear started in 2011 on a small marina in Elizabeth Bay. As locals, we had long admired the waterfront location and jumped on the opportunity to share it with the community over quality coffee and food.
What we lacked in industry know-how, we made up for in optimism. Coupled with willing friends and family, and the help of killer staff - some of which are still with us today - Bird & Bear was born.
eight years on and we've spread our wings. Opening two new harbourside cafes and Foys Kirribilli restaurant, we're continuing our mission to make the harbour more accessible to Sydneysiders. most recently we’ve collaborated with the Mosman rowers club to re-launch this local institution.
We're still proudly a family affair and we've got big dreams for the future... so stay tuned!
